Analytics Overview

Track how your wishlist is performing — page views, cart adds, revenue, and your most-saved products — all in one dashboard.

Overview

The Analytics page shows how customers interact with your wishlist over any date range you choose, from simple totals down to a full conversion funnel from page view to completed order.

Benefits

  • See wishlist revenue and order counts without cross-referencing spreadsheets
  • Understand where customers drop off, from viewing the wishlist to completing a purchase
  • Spot your top-performing and most-saved products at a glance

Available Settings

This page is a reporting dashboard with no settings to configure. It displays the following, all scoped to your selected date range:

KPI cards

MetricWhat It Means
Wishlist revenueTotal revenue from orders containing wishlisted items, for the selected range
Orders from wishlistNumber of orders that included at least one wishlisted item
Average order valueWishlist revenue divided by the number of wishlist orders
Conversion rateWishlist orders divided by wishlist page views, shown as a percentage

Each KPI card also shows a percentage change compared to the previous period of equal length (for example, this week vs. last week).

Trend charts (one data point per day across your selected range)

ChartWhat It Shows
WishlistsNew wishlists created per day
RevenueDaily wishlist-attributed revenue
CustomersNew shoppers (guest or logged-in) who interacted with the wishlist per day

Conversion funnel

A three-step funnel showing Page views → Added to cart → Orders, with each step's count and its percentage relative to page views — useful for spotting where customers drop off.

Top product rankings

RankingWhat It Shows
Top 5 products by revenueProducts generating the most wishlist-attributed revenue in the selected range
Top 5 most wishlisted productsProducts most frequently added to wishlists in the selected range

Best Practices

  • Check Analytics weekly to catch trends early, especially around promotions or new product launches.
  • Use the conversion funnel to identify whether your bottleneck is getting customers to view the wishlist, adding items to cart, or completing checkout — each suggests a different fix.
  • Compare a promotional period against the prior period using the date-range picker to measure impact.

Notes

  • All figures are scoped to the date range you select — this is different from the Dashboard's Overview tiles, which show lifetime totals.
  • Revenue figures reflect only the wishlisted portion of an order, matching the same attribution logic used on the Wishlist Orders page.
  • Cancelled orders are automatically excluded from revenue and order counts.
  • Charts show "No data yet" when there's nothing to plot for the selected range, rather than an empty or broken chart.
  • Page view and add-to-cart tracking counts overall shop activity — it does not track or display individual shopper identities on this page (see Customers for per-shopper detail).

Troubleshooting

My KPI cards show 0% change even though I know activity increased. If there's no data from the prior period to compare against, no percentage badge is shown — this avoids misleading comparisons against zero.

Revenue on this page doesn't match my Shopify admin's total sales. This is expected. Analytics here shows only the wishlist-attributed portion of orders, not your store's total revenue.

A chart says "No data yet" but I know there was activity. Double check your selected date range actually covers the period you expect.
