Getting Started
Why should I choose BRIX: BOGO, Upsell & Discount over other apps?
It replaces several single-purpose apps with one dashboard that covers BXGY, Buy More Get More, Volume Discount, Free Sample, Fixed Bundle, and Cart Progress Bar rewards - so you're not managing (and paying for) multiple apps that can conflict with each other. See Product Promotions Overview.
Does this app handle shipping or delivery to my customers?
No. BRIX: BOGO, Upsell & Discount is a promotions app - it doesn't ship products or provide logistics services. The Cart Progress Bar can set a milestone that unlocks a free-shipping discount, but the actual shipping rates, carriers, and delivery countries/states are controlled by your store's own Shopify shipping settings, not by this app.
Do I need any coding to set this up?
No. For most Online Store 2.0 themes, everything works after you install the app, turn on the relevant app embeds, create a campaign, and map the products you want it applied to - no code editing required. See Installation.
Why don't my offers show up on my store after creating them?
The most common reason is that the matching storefront block hasn't been added to your theme yet - creating a campaign in the app doesn't automatically put a widget on your store. See Storefront Setup.
Does this work with any theme?
It's built for Online Store 2.0 themes and integrates through app embeds and app blocks. Legacy (vintage) themes that don't support app embeds can't display these widgets.
How long does setup take?
Most merchants launch their first campaign in under 10 minutes using the in-app campaign builder. See Quick Start.
Promotion Types
What promotion types are available?
BXGY, Buy More Get More, Volume Discount, Free Sample, and Fixed Bundle. See Product Promotions Overview for how they compare.
What is the Shopify discount limit and how does this app help?
Shopify limits stores to 25 automatic active discounts, which can become a ceiling as your campaigns grow. BRIX: BOGO, Upsell & Discount uses just 1-2 discount slots to power unlimited campaigns and product mappings, so this limit doesn't apply to your offers.
Can I run more than one promotion at the same time?
Yes - there's no limit on the number of active promotions. You can run BXGY, Buy More Get More, Volume Discount, Free Sample, and Fixed Bundle campaigns together, plus a Cart Progress Bar with its own milestones, all without conflicts.
Can I schedule a promotion to start or end automatically?
Not currently - promotions have an Active/Inactive status you switch manually rather than a scheduled date range.
What's the difference between Free Sample and the Cart Progress Bar's free gift?
Free Sample is triggered by buying a specific product/quantity. The Cart Progress Bar's free gift is triggered by reaching a cart value or item-count milestone. See Free Sample and Progress Bar Rewards & Milestones.
Cart Progress Bar
Are Cart Progress Bars included?
Yes, on every plan. You can set multiple milestones - such as free shipping or a free gift - to encourage larger orders. See Progress Bar Rewards & Milestones.
Can the Cart Progress Bar offer more than one type of reward?
Yes - each milestone can be a shipping discount, a percentage discount, or a free gift, and a bar can have multiple milestones.
Does the Cart Progress Bar work with multiple currencies?
Yes, if you use Shopify Markets - you can set how each milestone's goal converts per market. See Progress Bar Rewards & Milestones.
Checkout & Shopify Plus
Can offers appear during checkout, not just on my storefront?
Yes, on Shopify Plus stores. See Checkout Extensions.
Do I need Shopify Plus to use this app?
No. Every promotion type and the Cart Progress Bar work fully on any Shopify plan. Only in-checkout offers require Shopify Plus. See Checkout Extensions.
Pricing
How much does the app cost?
Pricing is usage-based, starting free for up to 50 attributed orders/month, with a maximum charge of $200/month. See Billing & Plans for the complete tier table.
How does usage-based pricing work?
You're charged based on the orders each month that one of your promotions was actually applied to - not your store's total order volume. See Billing & Plans.
How is my usage calculated?
By counting your paid orders that this app actually applied a discount to - not your store's total order volume. See Billing & Plans.
Are any features locked behind a higher usage tier?
No - every plan and tier includes the full feature set (aside from the two Shopify Plus-only checkout features, which depend on your Shopify plan, not your usage tier).
I'm on an older plan - do I have to switch?
No - legacy subscribers can stay on their existing plan as long as they like, or switch to usage-based pricing whenever they choose. See Billing & Plans.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Every plan includes a 30-day free trial with no credit card required, so you can test the app before you're charged. See Billing & Plans.
Analytics
Does revenue in Analytics match my total store sales?
No - it only reflects orders where one of your promotions was actually applied, not your store's total revenue.

How do I refer other merchants and earn commission?

Performance & Scale
Will this app slow down my store?
No. The storefront widgets load asynchronously and are optimized to avoid affecting your store's speed or Core Web Vitals.
What happens if I have a large product catalog?
The app is built for scale. You can create unlimited campaigns and map hundreds of products - or apply a campaign to an entire collection - without any performance impact.
